Stat. tit. 18, § 18-381.55","heading":"Investment in real property","body":"In addition to any powers of investment permitted pursuant to\n\nparagraph 17 of Section 381.54 of this title, every association\n\nshall have power to invest in real property as follows:\n\n1. Such real property or interests therein as the directors may\n\ndeem necessary or convenient for the conduct of the business of the\n\nassociation, which for the purposes of this act shall be deemed to\n\ninclude the ownership of stock of a wholly owned subsidiary\n\ncorporation having as its exclusive activity the ownership and\n\nmanagement of such property or interests, but the amount so invested\n\nshall not exceed the sum of the reserves and undivided profits of\n\nthe association, unless the State Banking Commissioner authorizes a\n\ngreater amount to be so invested;\n\n2. An amount not exceeding the lesser of:\n\na. the sum of its reserves and undivided profits, or\n\nb. ten percent (10%) of its assets as reported in its\n\nmost recent quarterly thrift financial report or other\n\nstatement of condition submitted to the Oklahoma State\n\nBanking Department, in the purchase of real estate for\n\nthe purpose of producing income or for inventory or\n\nsale or for development and improvement, including the\n\nerection of buildings thereon, for sale or rental\n\npurposes;\n\n3.
