The following records in the Oklahoma State Banking\n\nDepartment are designated as public records:\n\n1. All applications for association charters and branches and\n\nsupporting information with the exception of personal financial\n\nrecords of individual applicants;\n\n2. All records introduced at public hearings on association\n\ncharter and branch applications;\n\n3. Information disclosing the failure of an association, a\n\nforeign association and their branches in this state and the reasons\n\ntherefor;\n\n4. Reports of completed investigations which uncover a shortage\n\nof funds in an association or an out-of-state association and\n\nbranches of either, after the reporting of the shortage to proper\n\nauthorities by the State Banking Commissioner;\n\n5. Names of all stockholders and officers of associations,\n\nforeign associations, holding companies, and branches of foreign\n\nassociations located in this state filed in the office of the\n\nSecretary of State; and\n\n6. Regular financial call reports of associations.\n\nB. All other records in the Department shall be confidential\n\nand not subject to public inspection. However, the Commissioner\n\nmay, in the sole discretion of the Commissioner, divulge such\n\nconfidential information after receipt of a written request which\n\nshall:\n\n1. Specify the record or records to which access is requested;\n\nand\n\n2. Give the reasons for the request.\n\nSuch records may also be produced pursuant to a valid judicial\n\nsubpoena or other legal process requiring production, if the\n\nCommissioner determines that the records are relevant to the hearing\n\nor proceeding and that production is in the best interests of\n\njustice. The records may be disclosed only after a determination by\n\nthe Commissioner that good cause exists for the disclosure. Either\n\nprior to or at the time of any disclosure, the Commissioner shall\n\nimpose such terms and conditions as the Commissioner deems necessary\n\nto protect the confidential nature of the record, the financial\n\nintegrity of any institution to which the record relates, and the\n\nlegitimate privacy of any individual named in such records.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f42e31705519bbef88e953fccdc57bc6cd019af02a673618c85fbc145e1a89a5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-381.66d","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-381.71"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
