Stat. tit. 18, § 18-422","heading":"Articles of incorporation","body":"The incorporators shall sign and acknowledge, in the manner\n\nrequired for the signing and acknowledgment of deeds, a certificate\n\nof incorporation showing the following facts:\n\n(1) The corporate name.\n\n(2) The purpose of corporation.\n\n(3) The amount of capital stock.\n\n(4) The number of shares, and the par value of the shares into\n\nwhich the capital stock is divided.\n\n(5) The term of the corporate existence.\n\n(6) The number of directors, not less than five and the names\n\nand addresses of the incorporating directors who shall manage the\n\nconcerns of the corporation for the first corporate year.\n\n(7) The name of the town or post office and the county where the\n\nprincipal office or place of business of the corporation shall be\n\nlocated.\n\n(8) Any further provision, not inconsistent with law, which the\n\nincorporators may deem expedient to be embodied in such certificate.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"02ddb93cc9d69b39e89affca57e104e4e69c0642f0d2c23c89b276e0800d05bc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-421","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-423"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
