Stat. tit. 18, § 18-437.23","heading":"Foreign corporation","body":"Any corporation organized on a nonprofit or a cooperative basis\n\nfor the purpose of supplying electric energy in rural areas and\n\nowning and operating electric transmission or distribution lines in\n\na state adjacent to this state may file in the office of the\n\nSecretary of State a certified copy of its charter or articles of\n\nincorporation which shall be recorded in a book to be kept by the\n\nSecretary of State for that purpose, and thereupon, upon payment of\n\nthe fees required of a cooperative for the filing of articles of\n\nincorporation, and the appointment of a service agent as provided by\n\nlaw, such foreign corporation shall be authorized to transact\n\nbusiness in this state and shall have all the rights, powers and\n\nprivileges conferred upon a cooperative under this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9ac24329fc320f666f6f972fe425d098626696df8a0f2c322958976426480cff","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-437.22","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-437.24"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
