Stat. tit. 18, § 18-437.5","heading":"Articles of incorporation","body":"(a) The articles of incorporation of a cooperative shall recite\n\nin the caption that they are executed pursuant to this act, shall be\n\nsigned and acknowledged by each of the incorporators, and shall\n\nstate: (1) The name of the cooperative; (2) The address of its\n\nprincipal office; (3) The names and addresses of the incorporators;\n\n(4) The names and addresses of the persons who shall constitute its\n\nfirst board of trustees; and (5) Any provisions not inconsistent\n\nwith this act deemed necessary or advisable for the conduct of its\n\nbusiness and affairs.\n\n(b) Such articles of incorporation shall be submitted to the\n\nSecretary of State for filing as provided in this act.\n\n(c) It shall not be necessary to set forth in the articles of\n\nincorporation of a cooperative the purpose for which it is organized\n\nor any of the corporate powers vested in a cooperative under this\n\nact.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"32f963891ef31f295ccdc0eb729dc6462c35830e279183d384de9c8af0c88531","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-437.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-437.6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
