Stat. tit. 18, § 18-438.30","heading":"Connections with other lines","body":"Any cooperative or foreign corporation doing business in this\n\nstate pursuant to this act (such cooperative or corporation being\n\ndesignated in this section as \"applicant\") shall have the right to\n\nrequire any person furnishing telephone service to the public in\n\nthis state (such person being designated in this section as\n\n\"company\") to interconnect the company's lines, facilities or\n\nsystems with, or otherwise make available such lines, facilities or\n\nsystems to the applicant's telephone lines, facilities or systems,\n\nin order to provide a continuous line of communication for the\n\napplicant's subscribers. In the event the connecting company and\n\nthe applicant shall be unable to agree upon the terms and conditions\n\nof such interconnection, including compensation therefor, within\n\nthirty (30) days after request by the applicant, the Corporation\n\nCommission shall by order direct that such interconnection be made\n\nand shall prescribe the terms and conditions thereof, which shall be\n\nreasonable and nondiscriminatory.
