Each incorporator of a cooperative shall be a member thereof\n\nbut no other person may become a member thereof unless such other\n\nperson agrees to use communication services furnished by the\n\ncooperative when it is made available through its facilities, except\n\nas otherwise provided in the bylaws. Membership in a cooperative\n\nmay be evidenced by a certificate of membership which shall not be\n\ntransferable, except as provided by the bylaws. The bylaws may\n\nprescribe additional qualifications and limitations in respect of\n\nmembership, provided that ownership of shares of stock, if any are\n\nauthorized, shall not be a condition of membership in the\n\ncooperative.\n\nB. In case the issuance of shares of stock is provided for in\n\nthe articles of incorporation, ownership thereof shall be evidenced\n\nby share certificates. No share of stock shall be issued except for\n\ncash, or for property at its fair value, in an amount equal to the\n\npar value of such share of stock.\n\nC. Membership and share certificates shall contain such\n\nprovisions, consistent with this act and the articles of\n\nincorporation of the cooperative, as shall be prescribed by its\n\nbylaws.\n\nD.
