Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-104","heading":"Nature of limited cooperative association","body":"NATURE OF LIMITED COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.\n\n(a) A limited cooperative association organized under the\n\nUniform Limited Cooperative Association Act of 2009 is an\n\nautonomous, unincorporated association of persons united to meet\n\ntheir mutual interests through a jointly owned enterprise primarily\n\ncontrolled by those persons, which permits combining:\n\n(1) Ownership, financing, and receipt of benefits by the\n\nmembers for whose interests the association is formed; and\n\n(2) Separate investments in the association by members who may\n\nreceive returns on their investments and a share of control.\n\n(b) The fact that a limited cooperative association does not\n\nhave one or more of the characteristics described in subsection (a)\n\nof this section does not alone prevent the association from being\n\nformed under and governed by the Uniform Limited Cooperative\n\nAssociation Act of 2009 nor does it alone provide a basis for an\n\naction against the association.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f3ec3bd627368dab9c8747926423c16dc923403152d44337f074103a69898915","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-103","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
