Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-112","heading":"Reservation of name","body":"RESERVATION OF NAME.\n\n(a) A person may reserve the exclusive use of the name of a\n\nlimited cooperative association, including a fictitious name for a\n\nforeign cooperative whose name is not available under Section 11 of\n\nthis act, by delivering an application to the Secretary of State for\n\nfiling. The application must set forth the name and address of the\n\napplicant and the name proposed to be reserved. If the Secretary of\n\nState finds that the name applied for is available under Section 11\n\nof this act, the Secretary of State shall reserve the name for the\n\napplicant’s exclusive use for a nonrenewable period of one hundred\n\ntwenty (120) days.\n\n(b) A person that has reserved a name for a limited cooperative\n\nassociation may transfer the reservation to another person by\n\ndelivering to the Secretary of State a signed notice of the transfer\n\nwhich states the name, street address, and, if different, the\n\nmailing address of the transferee.
