Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-1210","heading":"Court proceeding","body":"COURT PROCEEDING.\n\n(a) Upon application by a dissolved limited cooperative\n\nassociation that has published a notice under Section 110 of this\n\nact, the district court in the county where the association’s\n\nprincipal office is located or, if the association does not have a\n\nprincipal office in this state, where its designated office in this\n\nstate is located, may determine the amount and form of security to\n\nbe provided for payment of claims against the association that are\n\ncontingent, have not been made known to the association, or are\n\nbased on an event occurring after the effective date of dissolution\n\nbut that, based on the facts known to the association, are\n\nreasonably anticipated to arise after the effective date of\n\ndissolution.\n\n(b) Not later than ten (10) days after filing an application\n\nunder subsection (a) of this section, a dissolved limited\n\ncooperative association shall give notice of the proceeding to each\n\nknown claimant holding a contingent claim.\n\n(c) The court may appoint a representative in a proceeding\n\nbrought under this section to represent all claimants whose\n\nidentities are unknown. The dissolved limited cooperative\n\nassociation shall pay reasonable fees and expenses of the\n\nrepresentative, including all reasonable attorney and expert witness\n\nfees.\n\n(d) Provision by the dissolved limited cooperative association\n\nfor security in the amount and the form ordered by the court\n\nsatisfies the association’s obligations with respect to claims that\n\nare contingent, have not been made known to the association, or are\n\nbased on an event occurring after the effective date of dissolution,\n\nand the claims may not be enforced against a member that received a\n\ndistribution.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b4b6763edd821b8462ba494675b0cd3967d6f92509e513e70d8c24d805705875","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-1209","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-1211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
