Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-203","heading":"Delivery to and filing of records by Secretary of","body":"State - Effective time and date.\n\nDELIVERY TO AND FILING OF RECORDS BY SECRETARY OF STATE;\n\nEFFECTIVE TIME AND DATE.\n\n(a) A record authorized or required by the Uniform Limited\n\nCooperative Association Act of 2009 to be delivered to the Secretary\n\nof State for filing must be captioned to describe the record’s\n\npurpose, be in a medium and format permitted by the Secretary of\n\nState, and be delivered to the Secretary of State. If the filing\n\nfees have been paid, and unless the Secretary of State determines\n\nthat the record does not comply with the filing requirements of the\n\nUniform Limited Cooperative Association Act of 2009, the Secretary\n\nof State shall file the record and send a copy of the filed record\n\nand a receipt for the fees to the person on whose behalf the record\n\nwas filed.\n\n(b) The Secretary of State, upon request and payment of the\n\nrequired fee, shall furnish a certified copy of any record filed by\n\nthe Secretary of State under the Uniform Limited Cooperative\n\nAssociation Act of 2009 to the person making the request.\n\n(c) Except as otherwise provided in Sections 18 and 24 of this\n\nact, a record delivered to the Secretary of State for filing under\n\nthe Uniform Limited Cooperative Association Act of 2009 may specify\n\nan effective time and a delayed effective date that may include an\n\neffective time on that date. Except as otherwise provided in\n\nSections 18 and 24 of this act, a record filed by the Secretary of\n\nState under the Uniform Limited Cooperative Association Act of 2009\n\nis effective:\n\n(1) If the record does not specify an effective time and does\n\nnot specify a delayed effective date, on the date and at the time\n\nthe record is filed as evidenced by the Secretary of State’s\n\nendorsement of the date and time on the record;\n\n(2) If the record specifies an effective time but not a delayed\n\neffective date, on the date the record is filed at the time\n\nspecified in the record;\n\n(3) If the record specifies a delayed effective date but not an\n\neffective time, at 12:01 a.m. on the earlier of:\n\n(A) the specified date; or\n\n(B) the ninetieth day after the record is filed; or\n\n(4) If the record specifies an effective time and a delayed\n\neffective date, at the specified time on the earlier of:\n\n(A) the specified date; or\n\n(B) the ninetieth day after the record is filed.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"89642577c461916a169a3d28cedfccabe077b6c9d743e4b6b027d77b2eac5172","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-202","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
