Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-303","heading":"Organization of limited cooperative association","body":"ORGANIZATION OF LIMITED COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.\n\n(a) After a limited cooperative association is formed:\n\n(1) If initial directors are named in the articles of\n\norganization, the initial directors shall hold an organizational\n\nmeeting to adopt initial bylaws and carry on any other business\n\nnecessary or proper to complete the organization of the association;\n\nor\n\n(2) If initial directors are not named in the articles of\n\norganization, the organizers shall designate the initial directors\n\nand call a meeting of the initial directors to adopt initial bylaws\n\nand carry on any other business necessary or proper to complete the\n\norganization of the association.\n\n(b) Unless the articles of organization otherwise provide, the\n\ninitial directors may cause the limited cooperative association to\n\naccept members, including those necessary for the association to\n\nbegin business.\n\n(c) Initial directors need not be members.\n\n(d) An initial director serves until a successor is elected and\n\nqualified at a members’ meeting or the director is removed, resigns,\n\nis adjudged incompetent, or dies.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"eead64b9a1cfbeb905d9a0d3a4cefcb314774a815e97f1448f0bd7d228e8c2ec","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-302","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
