Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-507","heading":"Special meeting of members","body":"SPECIAL MEETING OF MEMBERS.\n\n(a) A special meeting of members may be called only:\n\n(1) As provided in the organic rules;\n\n(2) By a majority vote of the board of directors on a proposal\n\nstating the purpose of the meeting;\n\n(3) By demand in a record signed by members holding at least\n\ntwenty percent (20%) of the voting power of the persons in any\n\ndistrict or class entitled to vote on the matter that is the purpose\n\nof the meeting stated in the demand; or\n\n(4) By demand in a record signed by members holding at least\n\nten percent (10%) of the total voting power of all the persons\n\nentitled to vote on the matter that is the purpose of the meeting\n\nstated in the demand.\n\n(b) A demand under paragraph (3) or (4) of subsection (a) of\n\nthis section must be submitted to the officer of the limited\n\ncooperative association charged with keeping its records.\n\n(c) Any voting member may withdraw its demand under paragraph\n\n(3) or (4) of subsection (a) of this section before receipt by the\n\nlimited cooperative association of demands sufficient to require a\n\nspecial meeting of members.\n\n(d) A special meeting of members may be held inside or outside\n\nthis state at the place stated in the organic rules or selected by\n\nthe board of directors not inconsistent with the organic rules.\n\n(e) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, members may\n\nattend or conduct a special meeting of members through the use of\n\nany means of communication if all members attending the meeting can\n\ncommunicate with each other during the meeting.\n\n(f) Only business within the purpose or purposes stated in the\n\nnotice of a special meeting of members may be conducted at the\n\nmeeting.\n\n(g) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, the presiding\n\nofficer of a special meeting of members shall be designated by the\n\nboard of directors.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"cb2fb3453fa279c595b6bc7eeceba932d6393a9ebb0b2f1be2d691f9c3f48455","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-506","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-508"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
