Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-803","heading":"Qualifications of directors","body":"\n\nQUALIFICATIONS OF DIRECTORS.\n\n(a) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, and subject to\n\nsubsection (c) of this section, each director of a limited\n\ncooperative association must be an individual who is a member of the\n\nassociation or an individual who is designated by a member that is\n\nnot an individual for purposes of qualifying and serving as a\n\ndirector. Initial directors need not be members.\n\n(b) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, a director may\n\nbe an officer or employee of the limited cooperative association.\n\n(c) If the organic rules provide for nonmember directors, the\n\nnumber of nonmember directors may not exceed:\n\n(1) One, if there are two through four directors;\n\n(2) Two, if there are five through eight directors; or\n\n(3) One-third (1/3) of the total number of directors if there\n\nare at least nine directors.\n\n(d) The organic rules may provide qualifications for directors\n\nin addition to those in this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"29de5728db8b8953e7a98df1e2022aab0ab378668b38e5483216e7854fa0bcaa","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-802","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
