Unless the organic rules otherwise\n\nprovide, the following rules apply:\n\n(1) Members may remove a director with or without cause.\n\n(2) A member or members holding at least ten percent (10%) of\n\nthe total voting power entitled to be voted in the election of a\n\ndirector may demand removal of the director by one or more signed\n\npetitions submitted to the officer of the limited cooperative\n\nassociation charged with keeping its records.\n\n(3) Upon receipt of a petition for removal of a director, an\n\nofficer of the association or the board of directors shall:\n\n(A) call a special meeting of members to be held not later\n\nthan ninety (90) days after receipt of the petition by\n\nthe association; and\n\n(B) mail or otherwise transmit or deliver in a record to\n\nthe members entitled to vote on the removal, and to\n\nthe director to be removed, notice of the meeting\n\nwhich complies with Section 47 of this act.\n\n(4) A director is removed if the votes in favor of removal are\n\nequal to or greater than the votes required to elect the director.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5aad2c7048861a72ba4b148357653b1133d57d971789da7b479afd8c4f24b3a8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-806","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-808"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
