Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-817","heading":"Committees","body":"COMMITTEES.\n\n(a) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, a board of\n\ndirectors may create one or more committees and appoint one or more\n\nindividuals to serve on a committee.\n\n(b) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, an individual\n\nappointed to serve on a committee of a limited cooperative\n\nassociation need not be a director or member.\n\n(c) An individual who is not a director and is serving on a\n\ncommittee has the same rights, duties, and obligations as a director\n\nserving on the committee.\n\n(d) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, each committee\n\nof a limited cooperative association may exercise the powers\n\ndelegated to it by the board of directors, but a committee may not:\n\n(1) Approve allocations or distributions except according to a\n\nformula or method prescribed by the board of directors;\n\n(2) Approve or propose to members action requiring approval of\n\nmembers; or\n\n(3) Fill vacancies on the board of directors or any of its\n\ncommittees.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"87af0e71984a498f317587d701a1ae75e97c8940f3cd7b8f51081ab783cea6f6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-816","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-818"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
