Stat. tit. 18, § 18-441-822","heading":"Appointment and authority of officers","body":"APPOINTMENT AND AUTHORITY OF OFFICERS.\n\n(a) A limited cooperative association has the officers:\n\n(1) Provided in the organic rules; or\n\n(2) Established by the board of directors in a manner not\n\ninconsistent with the organic rules.\n\n(b) The organic rules may designate or, if the rules do not\n\ndesignate, the board of directors shall designate, one of the\n\nassociation’s officers for preparing all records required by Section\n\n14 of this act and for the authentication of records.\n\n(c) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, the board of\n\ndirectors shall appoint the officers of the limited cooperative\n\nassociation.\n\n(d) Officers of a limited cooperative association shall perform\n\nthe duties the organic rules prescribe or as authorized by the board\n\nof directors not in a manner inconsistent with the organic rules.\n\n(e) The election or appointment of an officer of a limited\n\ncooperative association does not of itself create a contract between\n\nthe association and the officer.\n\n(f) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, an individual\n\nmay simultaneously hold more than one office in a limited\n\ncooperative association.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5b28a5d2b80be1cdea2752b88a5e07742a47e8c6f4b8efc954b7bddd0899bd3f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-821","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-441-823"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
