Stat. tit. 18, § 18-591","heading":"Community fund or chest corporations - Amendment of","body":"articles of incorporation.\n\nAny community fund or community chest corporation organized\n\nunder the laws of this state for which a charter has been issued may\n\namend its articles of incorporation in any particular competent to\n\nhave been embodied or inserted in the original articles of\n\nincorporation of such company, including any provision authorized by\n\nthis act. In order to amend its articles of incorporation, it\n\nshall be necessary for such amendment to have been authorized at any\n\nregular meeting of its members, or at a special meeting of such\n\nmembers called for the purpose of making such amendment. When so\n\nauthorized, new articles signed by the president and secretary of\n\nthe corporation and entitled \"Amended Articles of Incorporation\"\n\nshall be filed with the Secretary of State, who upon the payment of\n\nthe fees provided by Section 541, of Title 18, O.S. 1951, shall\n\ncause an amended charter to issue, signed by him as Secretary of\n\nState and attested by the seal of the state, for which date the\n\namendment shall relate back and be considered a part of the original\n\narticles of incorporation to the same effect as if originally set\n\nforth therein.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5acea789f5eab2318c3418f9858517bdd23d188371442579866a59bc16f35fa9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-590","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-592"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
