Stat. tit. 18, § 18-817","heading":"Prior corporation","body":"\n\nThis act shall not apply to any persons within this state who\n\nprior to the passage of this act were permitted to organize a\n\ncorporation and perform professional services by the means of such\n\ncorporation, and this act shall not apply to any corporation\n\norganized by such persons prior to the passage of this act;\n\nprovided, however, any such persons or any such corporation may\n\nbring themselves and such corporation within the provisions of this\n\nact by amending the certificate of incorporation in such a manner so\n\nas to be consistent with all of the provisions of this act and by\n\naffirmatively stating in the amended certificate of incorporation\n\nthat the shareholders have elected to bring the corporation within\n\nthe provisions of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"616fad0dd12e3586b6f92e92e5b67999c302615d63f076e674d921daa9599653","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-815","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-818"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
