Stat. tit. 18, § 18-865","heading":"Liability of directors - Findings of Legislature","body":"The Legislature finds that nonprofit corporations serve\n\nimportant functions in providing services and assistance to persons\n\nin the state and that in order for these nonprofit corporations to\n\nfunction effectively, persons serving on the board of directors\n\nshould not be subject to vicarious liability for the negligence of\n\ncorporate employees or other directors.
