Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1006","heading":"Director","body":"The commission shall appoint a director of the city-county park\n\nand recreation commission on the basis of merit and experience.\n\nSuch director shall be a graduate of an accredited college or\n\nuniversity in the field of landscape architecture, horticulture,\n\npark management, recreation or related field or shall have had a\n\nminimum of ten years' experience in park management, recreation,\n\nlandscape architecture, horticulture or related fields. The\n\ndirector shall serve at the discretion of the commission. The\n\ndirector may appoint and remove staff members and other employees,\n\nsubject to the approval of the commission.
