Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1101","heading":"Authorization to establish countywide programs -","body":"Financing.\n\nThe board of county commissioners of any county may, by\n\nresolution, provide for the establishment of a countywide economic\n\ndevelopment program and may provide for the financing thereof from\n\nthe county general fund. After the passage of said resolution by\n\nthe board of county commissioners, the county excise board shall\n\nannually appropriate an amount up to and not to exceed one-half mill\n\non the dollar of the proceeds of the ad valorem tax levy in such\n\ncounty for the establishment and operation of a countywide economic\n\ndevelopment program.
