Stat. tit. 19, § 19-121","heading":"Daily deposit by county treasurer - Security","body":"The county treasurer of each county shall deposit daily, not\n\nlater than the immediately next banking day, all the funds and\n\nmonies of whatever kind that shall come into his or her possession\n\nby virtue of the office as such county treasurer in the name of the\n\ncounty treasurer in one (1) or more banks located in the county and\n\ndesignated by the board of county commissioners as county\n\ndepositories. Provided, before the deposit of any such funds, the\n\ncounty treasurer shall take from each of such banks security in a\n\nsum equal to the largest approximate amount that may be deposited in\n\neach bank respectively at any one time. Such security is required\n\nto be pledged, taken, approved, held and withdrawn under the\n\nprovisions of the Security for Local Public Deposits Act prescribed\n\nin Sections 8 through 14 of this act.\n\nEach bank in which such county funds are deposited shall receive\n\nall monies, checks, or drafts at par and for deposit only to the\n\ncredit of the county treasurer in his or her official capacity, and\n\neach bank shall promptly honor the checks, drafts, or vouchers of\n\nthe treasurer of the county on such deposit.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"10b466a562d3e3b8fdf4630b27c799550d1ce04b3b7fa598cd0f10a1e37f50dd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1209","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
