Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1216","heading":"Operation and repair of equipment - Compensation -","body":"Budgets - Audits.\n\nIt shall be the duty of the chairman of the board of directors\n\nto keep in repair equipment, apparatus, and other property of the\n\ndistrict and to operate the same as directed by the board. The\n\nchairman and all persons who may perform any service or labor as\n\nprovided herein shall be paid such just and reasonable compensation\n\nas may be allowed by the board of directors and the board shall\n\nannually prepare an estimated budget for the coming year and submit\n\nsuch budget to the board of county commissioners for their approval.\n\nThe board of directors shall cause an annual audit of the district's\n\nrecords and accounts to be made, and shall make a report on the\n\nmatters at each annual meeting.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a44f1053931029e1c94aee1f546b13c9f6e863742fecf725f0e123a2d27ae379","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1215","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1217"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
