Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1217","heading":"Dissolution of districts","body":"\n\nWhenever a petition signed by three-fourths (3/4) of the\n\nresidents in any district organized under provisions of this act or\n\na petition signed by all of the directors of such district is\n\npresented to the board of county commissioners and it shall appear\n\nfrom the petition that:\n\n1. The district owns no property of any kind exclusive of\n\nrecords and files;\n\n2. All of its debts and obligations have been fully paid; and\n\n3. The district is not functioning, and will probably continue\n\nto be inoperative because the board of directors is unable to obtain\n\nthe necessary financing or for any other reason,\n\nthe board of county commissioners shall, after such finding, issue a\n\ncertificate stating the allegations in the petition as true and\n\ndeclaring the district dissolved, and shall make full minutes of\n\nsuch hearing in its journal and deliver the certificate to the\n\nsecretary of the district.
