Stat. tit. 19, § 19-122","heading":"Duties of State Auditor and Inspector - Deposit in banks","body":"outside county - Deposits with State Treasurer.\n\nThe State Auditor and Inspector, when examining the books and\n\nrecords of a county treasurer shall, in addition to his other\n\nduties, examine same with a view to ascertaining that the provisions\n\nof this act are being complied with, and it shall be the duty of\n\nsaid State Auditor and Inspector, if he shall find that the\n\nprovisions of this act are being violated, to at once file a written\n\nreport of such condition with the district attorney of said county.\n\nProvided, nothing in this act shall be construed to prohibit the\n\ncounty treasurer from depositing funds of the county in banks\n\noutside of the county when such bank shall give security in the\n\namount and in the manner hereinbefore provided. And, provided\n\nfurther, where local banks or banks outside of the county fail to\n\nput up the securities required by this act, said county treasurer is\n\nhereby authorized to deposit any funds in his hands with the State\n\nTreasurer as official depository and the State Treasurer as such\n\nofficial depository is hereby authorized to receive said county\n\ndeposits; the same to be withdrawn on the voucher of the office\n\ndepositing said funds.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3dabf9149f0b03b790ce3cefeb3af66a2c09b1ddd38ebcb30103b5c13af8b7d7","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1219","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
