Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1233","heading":"Consulting engineer - Bond attorneys' or fiscal agents'","body":"services.\n\nThe board of county commissioners shall have authority to\n\ncontract for the services of consulting engineers to prepare the\n\nnecessary surveys, plans, plats, profiles, estimates, and all other\n\ndetails for said work or improvements and to supervise said work.\n\nThe consulting engineer may be a person, firm, or corporation,\n\nresident in or outside of the State of Oklahoma, duly registered as\n\nan engineer in the State of Oklahoma. The board of county\n\ncommissioners shall have authority to contract for the services of\n\nbond attorneys or fiscal agents to prepare and sell the bonds of the\n\nassessment district as provided for by law. These services shall\n\ninclude the preparation of documents and transcripts, printing,\n\nadvertising, appraising, delivering, and such other expenses as may\n\nbe necessary to issue and to sell bonds of the assessment district.\n\nThe compensation for the engineering services shall not exceed\n\nthe guidelines established by the Oklahoma Society of Professional\n\nEngineers. The compensation for the bond attorneys and fiscal\n\nagents shall be consistent with statutes prescribing fees for\n\nsimilar services for general obligation bonds issued by cities and\n\ncounties.
