Upon the adoption of a resolution by a majority of the board\n\nof county commissioners or upon a petition to the board of county\n\ncommissioners signed by twenty percent (20%) of the qualified voters\n\nof the county as determined by the last general election, the board\n\nof county commissioners shall by resolution call an election for the\n\npurpose of issuing bonds as provided in Section 1 of this act.\n\nB. The board of county commissioners shall give notice of said\n\nelection by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in\n\na daily or weekly newspaper of general circulation published in the\n\ncounty. If there is no daily or weekly newspaper published in such\n\ncounty, then notice shall be given by publication in the manner\n\nprovided for in this section in a newspaper of general circulation\n\nin such county.\n\nC. The resolution calling for the election and the notice shall\n\ncontain:\n\n1. The amount of bonds to be issued;\n\n2. The time of holding said election, which shall not be less\n\nthan thirty (30) days from the first publication of any notice; and\n\n3. The purpose for which the facilities or reservoirs are to be\n\nused.\n\nD.
