Each county commissioner, county clerk, county treasurer,\n\nand court clerk holding office on May 11, 1982, and those elected\n\nthereafter and the deputies of such elected county officers shall be\n\nrequired to participate in the appropriate training programs, as\n\ndefined in subsection B of this section, and educational seminars\n\nrelevant to their positions and duties conducted pursuant to\n\nSections 130.1 through 130.7 of this title. In addition, county\n\nsheriffs and county assessors may attend the training programs\n\nspecified in this section.\n\nB.
