To file as a candidate for any county office, a person must\n\nhave been a registered voter and have maintained a current principal\n\nresidence within the county for the six-month period immediately\n\npreceding the first day of the filing period prescribed by law.\n\nB. To file as a candidate for the office of county\n\ncommissioner, a person must have been a registered voter within the\n\ncounty commissioner district and have maintained a current principal\n\nresidence within such district for the six-month period immediately\n\npreceding the first day of the filing period prescribed by law.\n\nC. For purposes of this section, evidence of a \"principal\n\nresidence\" may include, but not be limited to, the address listed\n\non:\n\n1. A federal or state tax return;\n\n2. A driver license; or\n\n3.
