Stat. tit. 19, § 19-137.3","heading":"Liability insurance - Counties of 300,000 population","body":"Any elected county officer of counties of three hundred thousand\n\n(300,000) population or over may purchase liability insurance\n\ncoverage not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to pay\n\nall losses and damages incurred by an action against such officer,\n\narising out of any act of negligence committed by such elected\n\ncounty official occurring in the operation of his office. The costs\n\nof such insurance coverage shall be paid by the county.
