Stat. tit. 19, § 19-14","heading":"Form of ballot - Election of officers","body":"The Governor shall cause to be placed upon the ballots, to be\n\nvoted at any such election, the metes and bounds of the proposed new\n\ncounty, or the territory sought to be transferred, and if said\n\nelection is for the purpose of creating a new county, the ballot\n\nshall contain the words \"Shall said territory be formed into a new\n\ncounty?\" followed by\n\n\"Yes\"\n\n\"No\"\n\nIf such election is for the formation of a new county, there shall\n\nalso, and at the same time be held an election for the purpose of\n\nelecting a full quota of county officers, for said proposed county,\n\nand there shall be separate ballots prepared for said purpose,\n\ncontaining the names of the various candidates to be voted for at\n\nsaid election, which said ballots, when voted, shall be placed in a\n\nseparate box.
