Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1412","heading":"Public hearings - Notice","body":"The county budget board shall hold a public hearing on the\n\nproposed budget no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the\n\nbeginning of the budget year. Notice of the date, time and place of\n\nthe hearing, together with the proposed budget summaries, shall be\n\npublished on the county's website and in a newspaper of general\n\ncirculation in the county not less than five (5) days before the\n\ndate of the hearing. Affidavit and proof of publication shall be\n\nattached to the budget when filed with the county excise board and\n\nState Auditor and Inspector. The county clerk shall make available\n\na sufficient number of copies of the proposed budgets as the county\n\nbudget board shall determine and have them available for review or\n\nfor distribution or sale at the office of the county clerk.
