Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1415","heading":"Protests - Status of budget - Examination","body":"Within fifteen (15) days after the filing of any county budget\n\nwith the State Auditor and Inspector, any taxpayer may file protests\n\nagainst any alleged illegality of the budget in the manner provided\n\nby Sections 24104 through 24111 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes. If no protest is filed by any taxpayer within the\n\nfifteen-day period, the budget and any appropriation thereof shall\n\nbe deemed legal and final until amended by the county budget board.\n\nTaxpayers shall have the right at all reasonable times to examine\n\nthe budget on file with the county clerk, county excise board or the\n\nState Auditor and Inspector for the purpose of checking for\n\nillegalities in the levies made or for filing protests in accordance\n\nwith this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"34e11d39f6b1540c3a00bb5cc0fec1777f740f78edef5d6997125b9f60613169","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1414","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1416"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
