The county clerk in each county in Oklahoma is hereby\n\nauthorized each year to destroy the following workbooks, reports and\n\ntransient and subsidiary records that have been on file or stored in\n\nthe office the period of time specifically provided herein.\n\n1. After the expiration of one (1) year:\n\na. unused blank forms printed for fiscal year series, and\n\nb. blank forms obsolete by change of law;\n\n2. After the expiration of five (5) years:\n\na. financing statements, except as otherwise provided by\n\nArticle 9 of Title 12A of the Oklahoma Statutes or\n\nother statute, chattel mortgages, bills of sale,\n\nreleases and renewals thereof, after the same ceases\n\nto be effective,\n\nb. all county claims, claim calendars,\n\nc. chattel mortgage indexes,\n\nd. appropriation ledgers, warrant ledgers, financial\n\nledgers,\n\ne. requisitions,\n\nf. upon retirement, discharge, or termination of\n\nemployment, loyalty oath of said employee or officer,\n\ng. certificates of error,\n\nh. copies of reports and remittances, deposits and\n\nreceipts,\n\ni. monthly reports to the State Auditor and Inspector and\n\nreports to other officers and warrant issues,\n\nj. daily reports including daily report jacket and all\n\ncontents therein,\n\nk. physician liens, insurance agent's liens, hospital\n\nliens, thresher and combiners liens, mechanic and\n\nmaterialmans liens, oil and gas liens, vendor liens,\n\nbanker liens, mining liens, district attorney liens,\n\nlabor liens, and personal property liens,\n\nl. reports, checks, purchase orders and other bookkeeping\n\nrecords,\n\nm. all tax protests, evidences, letters of orders of the\n\nboard, letters of increased assessment,\n\ncorrespondence, reports, docket books, lists of\n\nparcels under protest, agendas, and\n\nn. records pertaining to the Open Meetings Act and Open\n\nRecords Act;\n\n3. After the expiration of seven (7) years after the final\n\nsettlement following appeal to district court, all tax protest\n\nrecords;\n\n4. After the expiration of seven (7) years, balance sheets,\n\ndeposit slips, tax records, W-2's and investment authorization slips\n\nfor the retirement system; and\n\n5. After the expiration of ten (10) years:\n\na. all tax rolls and tax roll adjustments, and\n\nb. all special assessment rolls.\n\nB.
