Stat. tit. 19, § 19-16","heading":"Election commissioners - Qualifications - Oath","body":"When any such special election is called, it shall be the duty\n\nof the Governor to select and commission one special election\n\ncommissioner for each voting precinct or voting place in such county\n\nso holding such election as provided in this act; provided, that no\n\nsuch special election commissioner shall be, or have been a resident\n\nof the county or counties to be affected by such special election,\n\nand shall not be interested in any manner in the result thereof.\n\nEvery such commission shall be in writing and shall be signed by the\n\nGovernor. Before any such special election commissioner shall\n\nassume the duties of his office he shall take and subscribe to the\n\nfollowing oath:\n\nOath.\n\nI, ________ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support,\n\nobey and defend the Constitution and laws of the State of Oklahoma\n\nand will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity and to the\n\nbest of my ability; that I am not now and never have been a resident\n\nof the proposed county of ________; that I am not now and have never\n\nbeen a resident of the county or counties to be affected by such\n\nelection; and that I am not now interested in any manner, in any\n\nbusiness proposition, or in any institution located in any county to\n\nbe affected by such election.\n\n__________________________\n\nSubscribed and sworn to before me this _____ day of ______ A.
