Stat. tit. 19, § 19-160","heading":"Extra help and travel expenses - Payment from separate","body":"budget items.\n\nAn item appropriated in the budget of a county officer other\n\nthan the county election board for compensating regular employees of\n\nthe office may not be expended for extra help or for payment of\n\ntravel expenses. From, and only from, an item in the budget for his\n\noffice wherein appropriation is made separate from paying regular or\n\npermanent deputies may a county officer make expenditures for extra\n\nhelp or travel expenses.
