Stat. tit. 19, § 19-161","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. \"County officer\" means the county clerk, county\n\ncommissioner, county assessor, district court clerk, county\n\ntreasurer and county sheriff;\n\n2. \"Deputy\" means one or more regular employees appointed to\n\nassist a county officer in the performance of the official duties of\n\nthe county officer;\n\n3. \"Traveling expenses\" means reimbursement for mileage, meals,\n\nlodging, toll road fees, parking fees, telephone and other ordinary\n\nexpenses incurred, except meals and lodging incurred within the\n\ncounty unless the meals were during a county association school,\n\nseminar or training; and\n\n4. \"Voluntary instruction\" means one or more schools, courses,\n\nconferences, institutes and meetings which are available and are\n\nattended by a county officer or deputy as a discretionary training\n\nsupplement to the duties of any office covered by this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d74184149f447c24d1c1442fc84b4f7f9dc7dceddd6de9dda7dc529fe3c04690","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1609","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
