Stat. tit. 19, § 19-1706.1","heading":"Payment of audit expenses","body":"The net proceeds of the one-tenth mill annual ad valorem levy\n\nupon the net total assessed valuation in any emergency medical\n\nservice district for any year which shall be authorized and\n\nmandatorily required to be appropriated and dedicated to emergency\n\nmedical service district audit shall henceforth be restricted to and\n\nused only for audit survey and reporting receipt, disbursement and\n\nmanagement of emergency medical service district affairs financed by\n\nad valorem levy and miscellaneous revenues other than ad valorem\n\ntaxation accruing to the general fund of the emergency medical\n\nservice district, whether such audit be in the performance of duties\n\ncharged to the State Auditor and Inspector and instigated at the\n\nState Auditor and Inspector's own initiative and directive, on\n\nrequest of the board of trustees of the emergency medical service\n\ndistrict, on request of the board of county commissioners of such\n\ncounty or on order of the Governor as provided by Section 212 of\n\nTitle 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes. If, after completion of audit of\n\nall emergency medical service district accounts so financed, and\n\nreport thereof, including report of audit of cash funds where\n\npossible, as provided by this section, unless there be directive\n\nfrom the Governor for other and/or further inquiry, the board of\n\ntrustees of the emergency medical service district may, upon\n\ncertificate of completion by the State Auditor and Inspector,\n\nrequest that any unexpended and unencumbered balance of\n\nappropriation therein be, by the board of trustees of the emergency\n\nmedical service district, lapsed and canceled and the revenues\n\nrestricted thereby revert to surplus, available for appropriation to\n\nany lawful emergency medical service district purpose.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4153a4a16182d6865cc3daac28920f712c15ff8e0eeb20ea52e4a7627414b630","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1706","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1707"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
