Stat. tit. 19, § 19-178.1","heading":"Inventory - Continuous inventory - Accounting","body":"The board of county commissioners in each county of this state\n\nshall take, or cause to be taken, an inventory of all working tools,\n\napparatus, machinery and equipment belonging to the county or leased\n\nor otherwise let to it or to any department thereof, other than that\n\nwhich is affixed to and made a part of lands and buildings, the cost\n\nof which as to each complete working unit thereof is more than Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00), and thereafter maintain or cause to be\n\nmaintained a continuous inventory record thereof and of like tools,\n\napparatus, machinery and equipment purchased, leased or otherwise\n\ncoming into the custody of the county or of any office, board,\n\ndepartment, commission or any or either thereof, and the disposition\n\nthereof whether sold, exchanged, leased or let where authorized by\n\nstatute, junked, strayed or stolen, and annually thereafter, or\n\noftener in event of death, resignation or removal of an elective\n\nofficer with a term, to verify or cause to be verified by count and\n\nreport of the same as of the end of a term of office and as part and\n\nparcel of the accounting required by law of a retiring or re-elected\n\nofficer, and, as to appointive heads of departments amenable\n\ndirectly to the board of county commissioners and as to quasi-\n\ngovernmental boards and commissions such as free fair boards,\n\nhospital boards and the like, the same shall be as of the last\n\nbusiness day immediately preceding the day certain commencing a new\n\nterm of the board of county commissioners; all in the manner as\n\nprovided by law.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2ed7b2118d9be2a74e08d4e341b436223349b8bf7ab6c4d075e9c14693e77161","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-177.7","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-178.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
