Stat. tit. 19, § 19-180.63","heading":"Increase to basic salary","body":"In every county in this state, the salary of all county officers\n\nnamed in paragraph 1 of Section 180.61 of this title shall be\n\nincreased from the applicable basic salary named in Section 180.62\n\nof this title, for gross assessed valuation or serviceability,\n\naccording to the following scale:\n\nA. To the basic salary:\n\n1. Add the product of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) times each\n\nOne Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) gross assessed valuation, or\n\nmajor fraction thereof, until a gross assessed valuation of Seventy-\n\nfive Million Dollars ($75,000,000.00) is reached;\n\n2. Thereafter add the product of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)\n\ntimes each additional Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) gross\n\nassessed valuation, or major fraction thereof, until a gross\n\nassessed valuation of Five Hundred Million Dollars ($500,000,000.00)\n\nis reached;\n\n3. Thereafter add the product of One Hundred Twenty-five\n\nDollars ($125.00) times each additional Seven Million Dollars\n\n($7,000,000.00) gross assessed valuation, or major fraction thereof,\n\nuntil a gross assessed valuation of Two Billion Dollars\n\n($2,000,000,000.00) is reached; and\n\n4. Thereafter as to all additional gross assessed valuation add\n\nthe product of One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125.00) times each\n\nadditional Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00) gross assessed\n\nvaluation, or major fraction thereof.\n\nB. Also, the salary of each county officer shall be\n\nadditionally increased from the basic salary named in Section 180.62\n\nof this title, and the additions thereto heretofore provided in this\n\nsection, for population or service load according to the following\n\nscale:\n\n1. The product of Twelve Dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) times\n\neach one thousand (1,000) population, or major fraction thereof,\n\nuntil a population of seventy-five thousand (75,000) is reached;\n\nthereafter;\n\n2. The product of Twelve Dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) times\n\neach additional five thousand (5,000) population, or major fraction\n\nthereof, until a population of one hundred fifty thousand (150,000)\n\nis reached; thereafter add; and\n\n3. The product of Twelve Dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) times\n\neach additional ten thousand (10,000) population, or major fraction\n\nthereof.\n\nC.
