Except as otherwise provided in subsection B of this\n\nsection, it is hereby declared to be the intent of the Legislature\n\nthat this act shall be the comprehensive salary code for all\n\ncounties of the state and no county officer in paragraph 1 of\n\nSection 180.61 of this title, or their assistants, deputies, or\n\nother employees by whatever title designated, shall receive any\n\nsalary or wages except as provided in Section 180.58 et seq. of this\n\ntitle.\n\nB.
