Stat. tit. 19, § 19-19","heading":"Voting - Electors' affidavits - Form","body":"Every person desiring to vote at such special election, after\n\nhaving passed the challengers whose duty shall be the same as\n\nprescribed by law governing any general election, and being admitted\n\nto the room, shall, before being given a ballot, permit the clerks\n\nto fill out an affidavit and the intended voter shall subscribe and\n\nswear to the affidavit before the special election commissioner,\n\nafter which such person shall be given tickets and permitted to\n\nprepare the same and deliver the ballots to the special election\n\ncommissioner who shall, in the presence of the voter, deposit the\n\nballot in the proper ballot box, and shall deposit the affidavit in\n\nthe box provided for that purpose. The form of affidavit required\n\nof all persons presenting themselves to vote at such special\n\nelection shall be substantially as follows:\n\nAffidavit.\n\nState of Oklahoma, County of ______ ss.\n\n______ of lawful age, first being duly sworn, upon oath deposes\n\nand says: That he or she is a citizen of the United States, is over\n\nthe age of eighteen years, that he or she has been for one year last\n\npast a bona fide resident of this state, of the county six months,\n\nand in ________ precinct thirty (30) days next preceding this date;\n\nthat he or she came to his or her present residence from _______ and\n\nis a legally qualified elector in the precinct on this day and has\n\nnot voted in the election.\n\n___________________\n\nSubscribed and sworn to before me this _____ day of ______ A.D.\n\n(year).\n\nSpecial Election Commissioner.","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7dae0146bf99a52da7262a60c6110db570362bfc0d624473c565b56e269e2f8b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-1801","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
