District attorney investigators serve under the direction of\n\nthe district attorney, and shall perform such services as are\n\nnecessary in the investigation of criminal activity or preparation\n\nof civil litigation within the district.\n\nB. If the district attorney's investigator is certified as a\n\npeace officer by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and\n\nTraining the investigator shall be considered a peace officer and\n\nshall have the powers now or hereafter vested by law in peace\n\nofficers.\n\nC. While in the performance of official duties as an\n\ninvestigator for the district attorney, an investigator who has been\n\ncertified as a peace officer by the Council on Law Enforcement\n\nEducation and Training shall have jurisdiction in any portion of the\n\nstate.\n\nD.
