Stat. tit. 19, § 19-257","heading":"List and signatures of county officers to Secretary of","body":"State.\n\nThe county clerk shall annually on the fourth Monday of January\n\nprepare and file in the office of the Secretary of State, a list of\n\nthe officers of the county, elected at the last preceding general\n\nelection, which list shall contain the genuine signatures of all\n\ncounty officers, and the county clerk shall certify under the seal\n\nof his office, that such signatures are the genuine signatures of\n\nthe respective officers, and that they were attached in his\n\npresence: Provided, that in case of any vacancy in any county\n\noffice, the county clerk shall immediately transmit to the Secretary\n\nof State the genuine signature of the person elected or appointed to\n\nfill such vacancy: Provided, further, that any county clerk failing\n\nor refusing to comply with the provisions of this article, shall be\n\ndeemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less\n\nthan Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00).","path":["OK Code","Title 19"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os19.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c6605fb87c5688dabf03ed2adc1d0e0ef9fbb84fe9c322385339fe6334b36750","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-256","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-19-19-26"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
