Except as provided in the\n\nUniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act, he or she shall\n\nattach such seal to all instruments filed or recorded in his or her\n\noffice, together with his or her signature and certificate to all\n\ncertified copies of any instrument on file or of record in his or\n\nher office, which he or she is required to issue.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1657.
