Stat. tit. 19, § 19-286","heading":"Maintenance of records for storage","body":"The county commissioners shall furnish, and the county clerk\n\nshall maintain, in the office of the county clerk, suitable records\n\nfor storage for all instruments of writing subject by law to be\n\nrecorded in the office of the county clerk. Suitable record may\n\ninclude either photographic copy, digital copy or computer storage\n\nof such instruments. All records shall be available to the public\n\nfor immediate viewing and reproduction. The county clerk shall\n\nretain sole custody and responsibility for the records of the\n\noffice. All digital copies shall be produced to meet archival\n\nstandards and a security copy shall be maintained. Stored documents\n\nshall meet the guidelines set forth in Section 214 of Title 74 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1658.
