Stat. tit. 19, § 19-289","heading":"Receiving book","body":"\n\nThe county clerk shall keep a receiving book, with suitable\n\nheadings and columns, as the case may be;\n\na. For instruments to be recorded by the county clerk as\n\nregistrar of deeds;\n\nb. For instruments to be filed as public notice by the county\n\nclerk as such; which receiving book, in either instance, shall show\n\nthe name of the person who deposited the same, the nature of the\n\ninstrument, the year, month, day, hour, and minute when the same\n\nshall be received, the fee for recording or filing the same, and\n\nwhere the instrument is filed or to whom such instrument is mailed\n\nor delivered if recorded. It shall be the duty of the State Auditor\n\nand Inspector to prescribe suitable forms to conform to this act and\n\nfor the separate instances noted.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1661.
