Stat. tit. 19, § 19-351.1","heading":"Agreements for fire protection services by","body":"municipalities - Charges.\n\nA. The board of county commissioners of each county may enter\n\ninto agreements with any municipality for the furnishing of fire\n\nprotection and emergency services, including, but not limited to,\n\nmedical attention and wreck removal, by said municipality for all\n\npersons and property in areas outside the corporate limits of such\n\nmunicipality and to pay for such services a reasonable amount on a\n\nper run basis, or such other equitable basis as may be agreed upon,\n\nand to pay for such services from funds of the county general fund\n\nor the county highway fund. The board of county commissioners of\n\neach county may also enter into reciprocal agreements with other\n\ncounties for such services. The board of county commissioners shall\n\nalso have the authority to collect charges for such services\n\nperformed by a municipality or another county, pursuant to the\n\nprovision of this section, from any person to whom such services are\n\nprovided. Said funds shall be disbursed to the entities providing\n\nservices.\n\nB. Should a disagreement over service areas arise between\n\njurisdictions providing services, with or without an agreement as\n\ndescribed in subsection A of this section, either entity may\n\npetition for arbitration by the Fire Marshal's Commission to\n\ndetermine boundary lines for the entities involved.
