Until January 1, 1983, the board of county commissioners of\n\nany county in the State of Oklahoma may acquire electronic data\n\nprocessing equipment by purchase, lease or transfer, and may provide\n\nfor the operation, maintenance, repair and utilization of such\n\nelectronic data processing equipment as shall be necessary to\n\nconduct the county's business, or may enter into a contract for\n\ncomputer services with a capable data processing company, to provide\n\nsystems designs and analysis for all county officials.\n\nThe board of county commissioners shall determine the most\n\neffective manner of handling the county's data processing needs,\n\neither by outright purchase or lease of equipment or entering into a\n\ncontract for computer services, and shall offer data processing\n\nadvisory service to all county elected officials.\n\nB.
